In response to the move to the Covid Protection Framework (Traffic Light System), Motueka Golf Club will be implementing a vaccination policy.
As of Friday 3rd December, a vaccination pass will be required to enter the following buildings on the course:
Vaccinated passes are required to play in sanctioned club competitions and tournaments and as part of the informal groups of members which play together on a regular basis. The list of events requiring vaccine passes will be updated on a regular basis and are listed on the attached schedule.
Vaccination passes are not required to play outside these times. Tee-bookings using the DotGolf system are mandatory. Players must check in with the starter and play will only start from tee number 1. A contactless processing procedure will be in place for players without a vaccination pass.
Vaccination passes are not required to enter toilets on the course or use practice areas. All players are able to have the pin either in or out and bunkers can be raked. Golf NZ confirm that these areas and activities can be designated shared facilities.
This policy has been adopted to allow us to operate all facilities as close to normal under the current government requirements.
The policy will be reviewed and possibly amended on 1st January 2022.
We will endeavour to make the check in/entry process as efficient as possible, however patience and understanding will be required.
Vaccination passes apply to everyone aged over 12 years and 3 months.
Competitions/tournaments and golfing groups that require vaccine passes include, but not limited to:
Starting times for these events will be block-booked on the DotGolf system.
